Government Secondary School Barapathing, East Sikkim is affiliated to the CBSE board vide affiliation no 1820214.The fourth batch of Students have appeared for the board Examination this year (2022) and are awaiting results.                                                                                               

Government Secondary School being a government school do not charge any fee from students except CBSE examination and registration fees collected each year from students of class IX & X. Students are given free admission any time of an academic years as per their convenience. Further students up to class VIII are given free textbooks, exercise copies & School uniforms by the State Government.
